On Saturday, October 3, Chinatown will host the Southland’s oldest annual mid-Autumn Moon Festival featuring cultural entertainment for the whole family. Central Plaza, the start and finish point for all races, is also the hub for entertainment that day. The Shaolin Warriors of Chinatown and Chinese acrobats will be featured during the afternoon hours, followed by a demonstration of moon cake making, free samples of moon cakes, and a performance explaining the origins of the Moon Festival by the 2009 Miss L.A. Live music will be featured on stage until 10:00pm.
